For the CYA project, I have decided to make this piece more personally meaningful to me and I'm very excited because the goal that I have for myself is to have a deeper connection and meaning behind the art that I make. My CYA will be a Christian art piece that somewhat resembles a mobile for a child. I plan to use a stuffed animal because that is one of the things that I have grown up with all the time and even collect now. I enjoy stuffed animals they give me comfort. And I have decided to use wooden beads as the second material for this piece. The beads are ones that I wore as a child in my hair. I really love them; they are sentimental to me and my childhood. There will be an acrylic block above the stuffed animal that has a quote that is Christian faith related that I make and I will hand write them. These messages will be inspirational and share the story of how I have come to know and find my faith growing up. And how I have realized that God is the foundation of my life and I am very proud to say that. I am also thinking about visually if I would have certain beads sewed onto the stuffed animal itself and what that would look like and what that would mean for me and how it relates to the message that is on the acrylic block. And even though it's in a way inspired by a child's toy I still think that it could be inspirational for people of any age but it just connects my childhood with my adulthood faith. And even though it is a personal piece I still think that for many Christians and many people who may want to be Christian have similar stories or similar feelings about the faith.

For glass day we separated some glass bottles into color groups some greens some brown some clears and we took them outside and smashed them with hammers. we also learned about different ways to make glass art and it was very interesting and I enjoyed it and I hoped to one day maybe try to make class art myself.
